Here is a new site I am trying to capture on "film" before it disappears. I call this site "Yucca Pass". It should be beautiful in the spring.

Crossing "Yucca Pass". I wish you could see these photos 8x10 size. I will print them out and bring them with me when I go to dunes for anyone interested in seeing them.

I'm still taking experimental pictures around Yucca Pass. I hope to catch the yuccas in bloom this spring.

I think from looking at your pics, your "yucca pass" is what we call the "grape vine". Not for certain but looks like it. I'll have to pay more attention next time we go. Not sure why we call it that- when we first started going someone did and so we just have stuck with it. Our group knows it as that too...it's good to name areas so you can tell the kids where to head to when going out the gate.

By the way, thanks again for the pics!! I look forward to meeting you when we make it back. Should be the 23rd or 24th. Going to stay for about 5 days.
