I have noticed as the riding year progresses and the temperature gots hotter (than hell) the dunes begin to look like a dump. I remember reading a thread about this topic last year sometime but i couldn't find it. Does the state park give a guy's $10 back if he comes out of the dunes with a full bag of trash? I plan on taking a bag out with me either way this sunday but i just wondered if they did that or not.

PS, to anyone that takes a water bottle out on the blazing hot sands remember that it is just as easy to take it back out the same way that you brought it in

That exact idea has been brought up on here multiple times but the state doesn't seem to care one way or the other. I agree, it would be simple to refund even a portion of a driver's gate fee if they would bring back trash from the dunes. Maybe this should be our "forum goal" this fall is to get the state to agree/impliment a program like this.

Does anybody know who we might need to talk to? Is there a park director or manager on staff there in the state park office at the far south end of the south camp site?? The girls at the gate are pretty but i doubt they would have the authority to refund $5 bucks per full bag haha.

You need to talk to Jason hes the guy in charge red headed guy dont know for sure what his title is but hes in charge and has always been descent to me. I asked for trash bags at the gate before and whoever is working has always given them to me and just let us go through with out paying. But we are in our polaris ranger not on our four wheelers we have come back with the bed over flowing many times
