I noticed that no one on this site was talking about this so far but did anyone else read the article in Sand sports magazine that mentioned plans to build an atv resort hotel in Waynoka that would include a waterpark, atv drive-in theatre and several other unique amenities. If anyone has any info or updates on these plans please share.

donny (lsps) was talking about that a couple of years ago not sure what happened to that idea but if i was to guess i would say money

It was just in a recent issue of Sand Sports in an article that was explaining what the snake hunt was all about and included pics of RSH 2010. I can't exactly remember but I thought it was Mr. Blaylock that was being interviewed in the article.

I have heard so many rumors and stories about plans like this and I think it is pretty serious talk until it is time to pony up $$$$ and then something takes a walk.

I can understand that, these aren't the best times to be sticking your neck out and that whole concept sounds like there would def. be some risk involved.

ur right, a person would be taking one hell of a risk building a large resort in a place that has a large percentage of camper owning riders. also if it had a waterpark it would be closed half the year unless it was indoors. would definitely be sweet...but like Dmiller said, there have been so many rumors floating around its hard to keep them straight. what would be nice and FEASABLE though however would be a nice bath house IN LSPS and OPERATED by LSPS
