How was Snakehunt this year? I swore it off a few years ago, but since it's late in April next year,might go. I was down Easter and was astonished by the extreme number of tents reserving spots in the State Park. Just wondering what kind of crowd and/or crowd control was there?

I found it really reserved and fun. There were tons of people there and the Rangers weren't too bad as long as you were behaving yourself. I had them complaining more about my HID lights shining in their faces when driving by than anything else but not much they can do about that.

All in All it was a good time IMHO.

Over all, everything went ok. Had great time with our campers!!!

Being how we only had last year to compare with- we here at the pizza shop had a blast! Of course the weather was perfect, the people were great, and having the new bar across the street helped with having people downtown enjoying themselves....we did have one minor incident- but all in all we are thankful for the business that is brought into the town and look forward to many more great weekends with the wonderful people that we have met and come to enjoy! Thanks for making this snake hunt such a success!

Was a great weekend, lots to see and do in the campgrounds, on the sand and in town.

Great weekend overall, seemed like a lot of park rangers, but less county sheriffs and less highway patrol. Most of the rangers are pretty cool (as long as you mind your manners) but the rent-a-rangers are worthless in my book. Glad to see less of them.
